cypera is a kind of reed, and this style --- one of my favorite fused metal designs --- reminds me of a reedy lake

These earrings are about 2.5" long and half an inch wide. I sawed, fused, hammered, textured, oxidized, tumbled, and burnished them and tied the ear wires on.
