tennessee rocks necklace

One isn't supposed to play favorites, but this is one of mine: big --- my biggest pendant to date --- bold, and earthy. If you like to make a statement, state away.

Both stones are set in recycled oxidized sterling silver with contrasting textures and frames. The pendant is four inches long by three inches wide and is attached to a sixteen inch handmade heavy silver chain.

Agate is the state rock of Tennessee, and this particular specimen is a lovely mix of mustard brown with hints of pink and red. The jasper has highlights of black, white, and a little pink as well. Both were cut by James Carpenter of Arkansas.

this piece is available at the Northfield Arts Guild

I'm sure they'd be happy to sell it to you!
