As we become more aware of the impact our purchase decisions make on our environment, our world, and the people we share it with, more of us are moved by the desire to ensure that our spending reflects our values.

What you get (and what you don't) from Green Fuse:

§  nobody had to die for the sake of pretty: no leather, pearl, bone, horn, antler, coral, silk, ivory, tusk, mother of pearl, or tooth in any of my creations

j§ my sterling wire is recycled and my wirework is original and all done by hand by me: no gizmos, no jigs

§ all imported components are original (no knockoffs) and either fair trade certified or of western origin

j§ NEW: beginning in 2008, all new gemstones I purchase will be either lab grown, reclaimed, vintage/recycled, or collected and cut by hand by artisan rock collectors in the US. No commercially mined stones, no factory cut beads!

§ my metalwork is 100% salvaged autobody steel

I care about every piece I create. More than just a hand-crafted alternative to Mass-Mart sweat-shop piles of stuff, I want my work to celebrate both humanity and nature without compromising either. I know you do too.

Join the Packing Peanut World Tour Travel Plan!

I don't buy new package padding materials. I re-circulate whenever possible and buy recycled whenever not. Help me keep your packing peanuts mobile! Don't throw them away, send them along somewhere else in your own packages. Let's see how many trips around the world those peanuts can make!

Cruel Jewels

Diamonds and coral and pearls, oh my...

They're the mainstays of most jewelry designs, but you won't find them here. Read more...
